Our Heritage

Baker Tilly Zimbabwe traces its roots back to April 2001, when Phibion Gwatidzo founded Gwatidzo and Company Chartered Accountants in Harare, Zimbabwe. In May 2007 Gwatidzo and Company became an independent member of Baker Tilly International. In January 2009 Gwatidzo and Company amalgamated with Ziumbe and Company Chartered Accountants. On 1 June 2010 Gwatidzo Company changed its name to Baker Tilly Gwatidzo. On 1 February 2017 Baker Tilly Gwatidzo adopted Baker Tilly as its trading name. Today, Baker Tilly is a network of firms in Botswana, Zambia,Malawi and Zimbabwe.
